Greg Osby’s “St. Louis Shoes” featuring Willie Akins

Greg Osby and Willie Akins will play two sets, 8:30 & 10:15 p.m., April 10 & 11.

Saluting the history of St. Louis jazz saxophone, St. Louis native Greg Osby returns home to join the legendary Willie Akins for a performance you’ll only hear at the Bistro. Highly regarded for his insightful and innovative approach to composition and performance, Osby is a shining beacon among the current generation of jazz musicians. A St. Louis jazz institution, Akins’ rich, warm sound and soulful style have made him a living legend.
