Ginn is in both bands and is set to release these records from the newly reinvigorated SST Records. Originally from Long Beach, CA, Ginn moved his offices to Taylor, Texas to keep close to the Austin music scene. His label, SST Records, has released over 700 albums to date. Although Ginn’s new direction may seem surprising, his motto has always been innovation and his favorite guitar player has always been Jerry Garcia. Ginn says, “While punk rock has turned into quite something else, when I got into it in the ’70s it was about always doing new things,”
