The folk music concert willappear the choreographer and the dancers of the Ceremony of the Flamein Olympia. And in the end of the concert, the choreographer will makean other ceremony in order to give the flame of the Olympics in theChinese people.
The performance of Greek traditional music and dances will bring theChinese audience in contact with the richness and the variety of one ofthe most ancient musical civilizations, with a continuous heritage ofmore than 2,5 millennia.

The music and dances will be accompanied by the projection of imagesand videos, representing the different periods of the Greek musicalheritage.

The concert will end with a group of Greek and Chinese musicians,improvising on the “five-tone” musical scale, which is common at themusic traditions of both countries.
