Greenway Art Festival September 20, 2008

The Friends of the Greenway will host the 4th Annual Greenway Art Festival this Saturday, September 20, 2008. The festival will be held from 10:00a.m. to 4:00p.m. at the Thompson Lane Trailhead, Stones River Greenway in Murfreesboro, TN.
Artists will be displaying and selling their works along the trail: oils, acrylics, watercolors, pottery, silversmithing, sculpture, glass and more! Trailside music, food vendors and activities for children will make this an artistic outing for the whole family. Free to attend, please remember most of the artists cannot take credit cards.
"The Greenway Art Festival has in the past few years become a very interesting and well organized art festival. It's setting by the greenway is a delightful place to exhibit art and provide a venue in a natural setting that is not impeded by the usual expanse of concrete, asphalt and vehicular traffic.
