Can Christmas be merry and ethical ?

The Greenspeak festive extravaganza with speakers, stalls, workshop, fun festive treats and locally produced food and drinks.

Speakers:
James Collins, founder of Brighton’s www.AllThingsGreen.net
Joanna Yarrow, co-founder www.BeyondGreen.co.uk sustainability consultancy, green lifestyles expert for ITV's This Morning and Tonight with Trevor MacDonald, author '1001 Ways To Save The Planet'

This Christmas, homes across the UK will produce 3,000,000 tonnes of waste. Half a million trees will be sent to landfill, one billion Christmas cards will be thrown away and we will use enough wrapping paper to gift wrap 350,000 London buses.
This month Greenspeak looks at how a little bit of thought can make a big difference to our Earth. Expect a fun and friendly evening of inspiration, where we can share ideas and learn some new ones.

Brighton's very own NigelsEcoStore.com will be on hand with gifts for sale, Jasmine Fish will be giving a workshop on making decorations, Sussex And The City and Prodigal Foods will be serving local food and drinks.
Prizes include: Lunch for 2 @ Moments Cafe, North St, organic bodycare and natural cleaning products courtesy of Villa Natura with more donations from Hankham Organics and Barcombe Nurseries, Sunny Foods, Infinity Foods and others.
