"Greendale" [Neil Young's film] February 27, 2004

Neil Young directed this counterpart to his concept album of 2003, "Greendale." Ten interlinking songs songs performed by Young and Crazy Horse are fully dramatized, with "Neil's distinctive voice [...] singing the story as well as the dialogue of his lip-syncing actors." Neil Young will present the film at the Nuart on opening night at 7:30 and 9:45 "schedule permitting,"--don't count on it.
Film runs through Thursday, March 4.
