Green Zebra Wine Tasting and Dinner March 1, 2007

Come enjoy a special organic wine tasting and dinner celebrating the launch of Green Zebra at Roots in the newly opened Orchard Garden Hotel, California's first LEED certified green hotel. Nurture your body, support your community, preserve your planet.

Food
Chef Russell Rummer, will prepare a delicious 3-course contemporary American dinner highlighting the freshest local sustainably grown ingredients (menu on website.) During dinner, Hallcrest Vineyards, also home of The Organic Wine Works, will pour tastes of their wines chosen specifically to complement each course. There are two seatings to choose from-- 6:30 and 8:00 pm.

Wine Tasting
Curious about organic and bio-dynamic wines? Representatives from Bonterra Vineyards, Fetzer Vineyards, Fitzpatrick Winery & Lodge, and Frey Vineyards will be on hand to pour wine and answer all your questions from 6 to 10pm.

Party Favors
You will also receive a copy of the 2007 Green Zebra guide, the new green guide that everyone is talking about. The book ($25 retail price) offers thousands of dollars in savings at local green businesses, as well as tips for embracing a more sustainable lifestyle in San Francisco.
