The Green Tech Academy offers a one-day "crash course" in clean technology, designed to provide participants with a vocational and informaional overview of emerging technologies in several rapidly growing areas.
The program on April 4 will focus primarily on five topics:
Clean Tech Consulting
Green Collar Jobs
Biofuel and Biomass Industry
Green Building and Sustainability
The Politics of Going Green
Industry experts from these clean technology fields will serve as the instructors for the 8-hour course. All instructors and their presentationshave been reviewed prior to the training course to ensure relevance, timeliness and credibility.
Participants will be provided with course materials, resources and contact information related to all of the presentations. A certificate of completion will be issued to all participants at the end of the course. Meals, hotel and transportation will not be provided during the training program.
The training will take place at the Embassy Suites Hotel, located at 2885 Lakeside Drive, Santa Clara (just off Highway 101). Registration (with coffee provided) will take place from 8:30 a.m.-9 a.m. The training will begin promptly at 9 a.m. and will continue until 6 p.m. There will be a break for lunch from noon-1 p.m. (there are five restaurants within walking distance).
The cost of the one-day training is $295 per person, plus an online transaction fee of $7.38. If, for any reason, an enrollee requests a refund for the training program, the full amount of registration will be refunded UP TO TWO WEEKS PRIOR to the scheduled training date. After that period (two weeks before training), NO refund will be issued. The cost of registration is, however, transferable and a designated individual may take the place of the registered participant.
