Green Seattle Day 2010 November 6, 2010

Kids under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Without a coordinated effort, Seattle is at risk of losing 70% of our forests in just 20 years. The Green Seattle Partnership, a collaboration between the City of Seattle and the Cascade Land Conservancy, has been working to reverse this by mobilizing volunteers to restore 2,500 acres by 2025 (go to http://greenseattle.org/ for more information.) Thousands will turn out across the City for Green Seattle Day to kick off the 2010-11 planting season.
