Green Roof Demonstration Project June 27, 2010

The Miami Science Museum is planning to cover the roof of its new downtown building with growing native plants. A green roof is great insulation, and will reduce energy costs. To learn what will work best, there are now 5 technology-enhanced test beds, all recording vital information about rain and temperature.
