Green Meadow Waldorf School holds screening of Mother Nature’s Child October 6, 2011

Green Meadow Waldorf School will sponsor a free public screening of Mother Nature’s Child on October 6th from 7 – 8:30 p.m. at the Warner Library in Tarrytown, NY.
The 57-minute documentary looks into the extinction of recess and outside play due to an increased focus on classroom learning. Experts in this documentary expose the effects of “nature deficit disorder” on children’s health, development and attitude, from preschool to high school.
