Originally known as Green Jello, this comedic metal band began in 1981, the brainchild of Bill Manspeaker and Joe Cannizzaro. They began with the idea of starting "The World's Worst Band," performing punk shows around Buffalo, New York and earning notice for their onstage antics and live shows. Pressure from Kraft (makers of Jell-O) force them to change their name, just as the band released "Cereal Killer," a long form video which included the song, 'Three Little Pigs,' an unlikely hit which entered the UK Top 40 at number 5.
