Green Drinks for Clean Creeks Benefit for Keep Austin Beautiful January 28, 2011

The Marq Presents: “Green Drinks for Clean Creeks” benefiting Keep Austin Beautiful and the volunteers who work to protect and improve our waterways throughout the year. Support these efforts while enjoying Organic VeeV Drink Specials, a portion of the night’s profits benefit KAB programming.

Each year thousands of volunteers remove TONS of trash from Austin’s creek and lakes through KAB’s community cleanup and Adopt-a-Creek on-going programs, Austin’s city-wide cleanup: Clean Sweep, the Lake Travis Underwater Cleanup, and large-scale Lady Bird Lake Cleanups. Many groups also work to remove invasive plant species, re-introduce beautiful native plants, and educate surrounding neighborhoods about water quality.
