What does it look like when people of color take the lead in greening our cities? Continuing our "Solutions Salon" series, the Ella Baker Center is hosting this free event that will feature leaders in the East Bay who are on the cutting-edge of creative environmentalism that is rooted in communities of color.

Hear about the inspiring work of people like Babak Tondre (Dig City Cooperative), Jason Harvey (Oakland Food Connection), and other "eco-equity" revolutionaries. The event will also feature our very own Van Jones, who has just recently launched the groundbreaking national "Green For All" initiative.

Most importantly, this gathering will be a chance for YOU to meet, talk, and share with hundreds of others in the growing movement for an equitable, just, and environmentally sane future. Join us as, together, we explore sustainable urban solutions for all.
