Rick Batyko of the Greater Cleveland Marketing Alliance and Jennifer Deutsch of Doner the marketing and advertising agency selected by the GCP to lead the process for the rebranding of our region will discuss the process of getting where we are today…it’s been two years in the making, starting with a task team created by the Greater Cleveland Partnership in 2005 that identified the need, created a structure, and determined the focus (both tourist and business attraction) for the marketing alliance. After providing their recommendations, the task team was replaced by a single new hire: Rick Batyko. Rick and Jennifer will talk about the research and the process for getting to this point of preparing for the brand launch. They won’t be able to announce the name for the region that will be used in the campaign, but they certainly will be willing to have a discussion about the research findings about the naming issue.
