Food Festival Celebrates 20 Years of Fundraising for Local Schools

Celebrating 20 years of food, fun, festivities and fundraising, The Great Tastes in Brentwood festival will return this year on Sunday, October 7, 2007 from noon to 5 p.m. The outdoor event is held on the tree-lined San Vicente Boulevard between Darlington and Bringham avenues. The afternoon will feature a live concert, an auction with one-of-a-kind items, and a wine garden. “Great Tastes” is also a child-friendly environment with numerous activities including face painting, parasol painting and much more. Admission is $2 per person OR free with a canned good and children under 6 years of age are free. Attendees can purchase taste scrips with cash or check and redeem them at their food booths of choice for delicious tasting portions. Taste prices from $2-$6 with 1 scrip valued at $2.
