Great Pennsylvania Wine Toast August 14, 2010

One day, one toast, one celebrity toastmaster, one world record.

Join us on August 14 at 4:00 p.m. for the Great Pennsylvania Wine Toast. The goal: To celebrate another record-setting year for the Pennsylvania wine industry. Under the watchful eye of the folks at the Guinness Book of World Records, over 60 wineries across the state will open their doors for this chance to enter the record books for the largest wine tasting ever conducted.*

Proud Pennsylvanian, wine lover and racing legend, Mario Andretti, will serve as the toastmaster, as he leads all locations in a simultaneous toast via video.

Our event will start at 1:00 p.m. with a “golden oldies” concert by the Billy Hedrick Band, and a pig roast, thanks to Uncle Moe, going on throughout the day. The world record toast will take place precisely at 4:00 p.m.

Proceeds from the event will support The Fund to Benefit Children & Youth, a Lehigh Valley, Pa.-based organization that helps provide items and services to children and families in need.
