Great Music for A Great City: the Forgotten and Familiar Chopin February 21, 2010

Celebrated American pianists Claude Frank, Jerome Lowenthal and Byron Janis will be featured participants along with pianists they have mentored including Jeewon Park, Michael Fennelly and William Hobbs. Chopin's songs will be sung by artists from the Metropolitan Opera. The film, 'Fryderyk Franciszek Chopin: A Voyage With Byron Janis,' will be screened to open the celebration followed by a brief conversation with Byron Janis.
