Originally from Wainfleet, Ontario, Great Lake Swimmers is named after – you guessed it – the Great Lakes separating the U.S. and Canada. Often compared to fellow Canadian Neil Young, singer Tony Dekker writes thoughtful folk-pop about nature, beauty, and love. The band’s fourth album, Lost Channels, was released in March and has been shortlisted for Canada’s prestigious Polaris Music Prize.
