Great Grove Bed Race Saturday Pajama Pub Crawl September 5, 2009

After a 6 year snooze the Great Grove Bed Race is back! The Great Grove Bed Race will take place on Sunday, September 6, 2009, but the weekend is jam packed with events.

The Pajama Pub Crawl will be held from 7PM to midnight on Saturday, September 5, 2009.

So throw on your favorite jammies, invite your friends, and crawl through nine of the Grove's favorite bars. There will be "passport" booklets, which will enable you to go from bar to bar and participate.

Registration for the Pajama Pub Crawl is $20, 100% of which goes to the Alonzo Mourning Charities.
(Attendance Sunday as a spectator to The Great Grove Bed Race is free.)

The Pajama Pub Crawl commences at 7 PM. On site registration opens at 6 PM at Fat Tuesday.

Participants are encouraged to dress in pajama theme but must adhere to public dress code and all applicable laws for public decency as they "crawl" to nine (9) different locations across the village of Coconut Grove through both public and private property. Don't miss the surprises and activities from our race partner, Homestead Miami Speedway that will get your engines started!

Pajama Pub Crawl participants will receive a passport filled with nine (9) different drink coupons, one for each pub and will receive a free beer, sponsored by Heineken and New Castle. A tenth coupon for a free espresso or coffee at The Bookstore in the Grove, the “Designated Driver Pit Stop” will also be included. The Great Grove Bed Race reminds all participants to drink responsibly and not to drink and drive.

All participants must have a valid ID proving they are 21 years or older and will sign a group waiver at registration.

Advance Registration:
Participants can register in advance and skip the line on the night of the Pajama Pub Crawl by sending an RSVP email with a contact name, number of participants and phone number to [email protected].
Large groups are encouraged to attend and take advantage of advance registration.
