Carmel, IN - Many merchants and businesses in the Carmel Arts & Design District have fun activities and events planned for the month of April. April marks the start of live music at Muldoon's on Thursdays and Saturdays as well as Mudbugs Cajun Café's one-year anniversary celebration and crawfish boil. Visitors to the Arts & Design District can view works of art by Carmel High School students at The Great Frame Up, or dig for "treasures" at Accent Detail's "Treasures in the District" event. - CURRENT - Enrollment for Summer Arts and Crafts Kids Camps at Artisan Masterpiece Now Open

o The eight-week summer camp runs from June 9 - August 8, and offers the potter's wheel & hand-built clay sessions, mosaic, painting, drawing and creating over 40 different craft pieces. Campers can sign up for weekly, daily, full day or half day sessions, making it easier to accommodate family schedules.

- CURRENT - Grosser & Co. Master Jeweler Now Open in New Location!

- CURRENT - "Two Sisters' Collections" at the Museum of Miniature Houses

o "Two Sisters' Collections" contains handcrafted miniatures of Emma Rogers and the collected dolls of Rose Chevrolet. The Rogers ' displays are room boxes ranging from elegant bathrooms to formal living and dining rooms and feature two glamorous sets of wedding gowns. The Chevrolet dolls are baby dolls from the Madam Alexander collection.

- APRIL 5TH - Crawfish Boil at Mudbugs Cajun Café

- APRIL 18TH - "Creative Self Expression Show" at The Great Frame Up

o Twenty pieces of artwork created by the students at Carmel High School will be on display at The Great Frame Up. Pieces will be displayed from Wednesday, April 16 until Saturday, April 26th. One of the pieces will be entered in a national competition and eligible to win a $2000 scholarship.
