Grant Park Music Festival: Khachaturian's Spartacus July 17, 2009

Celebrate the Grant Park Music Festival’s 75th season with more than 30 concerts featuring the Grant Park Orchestra and Chorus, led by Principal Conductor Carlos Kalmar, Chorus Director Christopher Bell, along with dozens of internationally acclaimed guests.

An evening of Slavic intensity featuring Shostakovich’s Violin Concerto No. 1 and culminating in the Suite from Spartacus, one of the 20th century’s most riveting ballet scores.
