This traditional Fourth of July concert celebrates our country’s birthday and musical heritage with a wide range of selections by native composers as well as three Europeans — Dvorák, Johann Strauss, Jr. and Tchaikovsky — whose visits here left indelible marks on both sides of the Atlantic.
