Grant Park Music Festival: Brahms and Bizet August 18, 2010

An evening of music that explores the legacy of national traditions, including Saint-Saëns’ work of bracing patriotic pride, a piece by Bizet revealing the more delicate aspects of the French spirit and the deeply rooted Germanic sources of Brahms’ Piano Concerto.
