In this hands-on class we will learn and practice the ancient art of grafting, with its many benefits. Once you learn some ways to take a piece of one tree and graft it to another, you will find that having several varieties of fruit on one tree is pretty easy to do. In addition to covering the basics, we will talk about making new trees, changing the variety of an existing tree, grafting pollenizers, and making multiple variety trees for an extended harvest. Grafting knives and root stock will be available for purchase if you are interested. There will be several different varieties of apple, peach, plum, and cherry available as well.
