Rock and Roll Hall of Fame member and former lead singer of Jefferson Airplane Grace Slick presents her collection of original paintings and limited editions at Wentworth Gallery. Slick's love of rock and roll, first hand experiences at historical music festivals, and close relationships with legendary musicians influence much of her work, including portraits of old friends such as Jerry Garcia, Jimi Hendrix, Mick Jagger, Janis Joplin, John Lennon, Jim Morrison, Sting, and more. The exhibit also features "The Wonderland Suite," where Slick stays true to the original depiction of Alice in Wonderland in some cases and imposes her own interpretations in others.
