GOVgreen Conference and Exposition is the first ALL Government, ALL Green event focused on providing federal government and military professionals with the resources and real-world solutions for greening the government. GOVgreen programming - open to all and free to federal government and military professionals - is constructed around the target areas outlined in President Obama's Executive Order 13514: energy, conservation, transportation and facilities. The more than 30 educational sessions include panel presentations, interactive workshop sessions and moderated discussions with more than 85 speakers representing 19 federal agencies. Educational programming includes military-specific panels and a high-profile panel from the private sector will present successful examples of corporate sustainability as well as environmental preferable purchasing and federal budgeting strategies to meet the aggressive targets of the Executive Order.

GOVgreen's exhibit hall is devoted to over 1000 green products and will feature a new green product showcase (Extreme Green Pavilion) as well as prototype presentations (Green Alert). Additionally, the first annual CEIL Awards will recognize military personnel, federal agency teams, projects and facilities that demonstrate environmental stewardship.

Sponsored by the Center for Environmental Innovation and Leadership (CEILeadership.org), GOVgreen will take place November 9 -10 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, DC. Space is limited, so register today and be sure to visit the GOVgreen program.
