UPDATE: Government 2.0 Camp has sold out. We've begun seeing a lot of contributions through the sponsorship ticket, and in order to make sure we don't get too crowded, we upped the minimum to $100 $250 from $50. Full financial account is on the wiki as this is a fully transparent - participant powered un-conference.
What is Government 2.0 Camp?
Government 2.0 Camp is the unconference about using social technologies (aka web 2.0/social media tools) to create a more effective, efficient and collaborative U.S. government on all levels (local, state and federal).
Government
2.0 Camp will bring together the leading thinkers from government, academia and industry to share Government 2.0 initiatives
that are already in process and collaborate about Government 2.0 ideas that are currently just visions.

The Government 2.0 Camp Wiki is here

When
Friday, March 27 (8am to 5pm + 6pm happy hour) Saturday, March 28, 2009 (8am-6pm)
Where
Duke Ellington School of the Arts 3500 R St NW, Washington, DC

Attending
Government 2.0 Camp is free to attendees. The cost of the event will be covered by our sponsors. The Government Attendee ticket is currently open for those who are currently government employees. The General Attendee ticket will be opened sometime in the future to those who are not government employees - we want to ensure a healthy mix of participants and have staggered the ticket distribution for that reason.
Community & Communications
Government 2.0 Camp's hashtag is #GOV20CAMP; please tag your posts, tweets, pics, vids etc. with that tag.
Government 2.0 Club is a new un-entity (not a 501c3, not a private company, just a way to consistently bring people together on this topic) which will provide a digital architecture to capture and display presentations and learnings from #GOV20CAMP and other meetups we host. This will take the form of both a wiki and blog in the on set.
Government 2.0 Club will use a group on GovLoops's Ning social network for the time being for social networking facilitation.
