Wouter 'Wally' De Backer, better known as Goyte, is a Belgium-born musician currently based out of Australia. His mainstream megahit from his current album, 'Making Mirrors,' the inescapably catchy 'Somebody That I Used to Know' (with New Zealand artist Kimbra), was a chart-topping hit in 11 countries worldwide, and was number one for eight weeks on the Australian singles chart. Also, the striking, inventive video for the song has many tagging Goyte as this generation's version of Sting and/or Peter Gabriel.
