8/14-8/17: Got Milk? Mustache Mobile Tour Returns to Des Moines
WHAT: The got milk? Mustache Mobile Tour returns to Des Moines August 14-17 to reward and recognize local moms for being the gatekeepers of their family’s health and nutrition. In our search for Des Moines' Chief Health Officer, we will be hosting a series of free, interactive community events for the whole family.

EVENT ACTIVITIES:

• Participate in the Chief Health Officer Contest by recording a 30-second video explaining why your mom – or a mom you know – should be named America’s Chief Health Officer and receive her very own milk mustache ad
• Enter the Chief Health Officer Sweepstakes for a chance to win a $100,000 Chief Health Officer salary
• Pose for your very own souvenir Milk Mustache photo
• Work out and receive exercise tips from Curves International, the leader in women’s fitness
• Sample milk (and milkshakes!) from local milk processors
• Speak with a registered dietitian who can explain how nutrient-rich beverages may help maintain a healthy weight
• Enjoy free prizes including milk buttons, and t-shirts
• ALL EVENTS ARE FAMILY FOCUSED AND FREE!
