We'll go over what the new Maps API for Flash can do, and show how to easily integrate it with other libraries for parsing XML/GeoRSS/KML/JSON. We'll also show how to use it with the HTTP version of the Google AJAX libraries. The talk will include an introduction to ActionScript3 (like JS but better!), Flex development, and Flex controls.
The codelab will be making a map that uses all of the features of the API, and the free Flex SDK.
