Raised on the garage rock of the Replacements and Buffalo Tom, the Goo Goo Dolls' career turned on a couple of acoustic ballads, including 'Iris,' 'Name' and 'Black Balloon,' that became monster hits. After hitting the scene with its single, 'Hanging by a Moment,' Lifehouse looks to be more than a one-hit wonder with the release of its second album, Stanley Climbfall, featuring the hit single 'Spin.'
