Gone Missing June 25, 2007

Experimental theater troupe The Civilians presents this collection of personal accounts of things lost, culled from interviews with real-life New Yorkers. The items span such things as keys, personal identification, a Gucci pump, family heirlooms, a cat and one's mind to create a unique tapestry of the ways in which we deal with and relate to loss. Since its initial performance, just after 9/11, 'Gone Missing' has evolved into its new incarnation, which is set against a score which incorporates salsa, ballads, operetta and pop music.
