May 27th, 2012 marked 75 years for the Golden Gate Bridge and Arc Studios & Gallery honors this occasion with an exhibition that celebrates the history, beauty, and ingenuity of this famous span.

Performance by LATIN DANCE GROOVES Carnaval Contingent 2012, celebrating the wisdom of our ancestors, the commitment of our torchbearers, and the promise of an optimistic future. The selected choreographies draw on a beautiful and rich variety of styles from across the Afro-Latino Diaspora.

Elejigbo - Uma Historia de Ifa = Choreographed by Bianca Coleman. A dance inspired by dances of the Afro-Bloco Afro Ile Aiye.
Saudacao de Caboclo = Choreographed by Elizabeth Soberanes - A carnaval piece inspired by dances for the Caboclo -the Orixa that represents Indigineous Peoples and those of mixed ancestry
Cityzen / Citysoy = Choreographed by Elizabeth Soberanes - A Latin dance fusion celebration dance
Todo Se Mueve = an interactive afro-urban fusion dance where we invite the audience to participate in the joy of movement!
