Golden Gate Cat Club Show September 6, 2009

Wonderful felines will have the opportunity to earn Top Cat and Top Kitten honors at the annual "Back to School" Cat Show sponsored by the Golden Gate Cat Club.

Up to 225 cats and kittens to see, as well as everyday pet cats! Breeds include: Abyssinian, American Curl, Birman, Exotic, Maine Coon, Siamese, Cornish Rex, Persian, Himalayan and up to 30+ more. It's our last show in Centennial Hall. So join us and the cats as we bid farewell to our long-time show hall.

This CFA show is open to the public and will provide an entertaining day for spectators. In addition to the judging rings, where the cats and kittens "show" all day, spectators will have the opportunity to see cats "up close and in the fur" while they are preparing to compete. Talk to the breeders, enter the raffle for cat accessories, shop the vendors who will show off wonderful must-haves for cat fanciers, and see the cats available for adoption, provided by local shelter organizations, Sunshine Rescue and Hayward Animal Services.

The Homeless Cat Network will have volunteers on hand stewarding and manning an information booth, stop by and learn all about their mission. They will have catnip cigars on sale, profits will go to HCN's rescue and fostering efforts.
