Fuel presents Sound&Fury's Going Dark at the Rose Theatre. An awe-inspring lighting & sound installation built in the guise of a planetarium and positioned in the auditorium of the Rose Theatre.

Tickets £9.00 / £7.00 concessions.

Going Dark is a brand new lighting and sound installation built in the guise of a planetarium and positioned in the auditorium of the Rose Theatre. This unique setting will ensure an extraordinary experience for the audience as Sound&Fury explores modern day society's lost connection with the night sky, and the world around them.

Max is a man who is passionate about astronomy, works in a planetarium, and is slowly going blind. As Max's story unfolds, Sound&Fury's pioneering theatre vocabulary of immersive surround sound design, moments of total darkness, and imaginative lighting and projections, trick the eye, transforming the Rose Theatre from a planetarium to an apartment; a recording studio to a bathroom; an optician's examination room to outer space.

Going Dark is an awe inspiring experience for audiences, and reawakens our wonder at the cosmos and reveals how one man's vision becomes illuminated by darkness.

Suitable for aged 12 plus

Written by Hattie Naylor in collaboration with Sound&Fury.
