Go Van Gogh celebrates Lolita and Roman August 18, 2012

How odd that Roman Polanski happened to be born on August 18th, the same day that Nabakov's novel of inappropriate desire is first published in the USA.  The very subject matter that will come to represent the recent years of Polanski's life. One must pause to consider if  the fates play with us. Making a mockery of our chosen paths, catching one up in seemingly random coincidence.

So in that spirit of mixing up life's random coincidences, Go Van Gogh celebrates these two somehow interconnected aspects of the 18th of August. Come revel with us at our favorite haunt The Revolution Café. It's an all ages show, but beware Humbert Humbert, hands off .
