Go For The Gold In Gaming Tournament At Blockbuster® August 16, 2008

Moms, dads, sisters and brothers will team up to compete in a free Family Gaming Tournament at the BLOCKBUSTER® store at the Alameda Towne Centre on Saturday, August 16 from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. Participating families will vie for the gold against other families in Wii Sports games, including Tennis, Bowling, Baseball, Boxing and Golf.

Winning families in each sport will be presented with medals on an Olympic-style podium. At the end of the event a drawing will be held for a Wii system.

Games like Wii Sports transcend generation differences and give families fun entertainment to enjoy together. This tournament also gives kids interested in the Olympics a way to experience competing for the gold.

This event is free and open to the public. All ages. Registration begins at 1 PM.
