Ladymonix has made a name for herself as a versatile DJ, capable of playing favorite underground venues such as Funkmosphere, Dinnerhouse M and Grand Star Jazz Lounge, and high profile venues such as Winstons and the Standard Hollywood. Originally from Baltimore, MD, LadyMonix grew up heavily influenced by classic 90's hip hop and R&B, and the idigenous sounds of Baltimore Club Music. Upon moving to Los Angeles in 2003, she quickly became entrenched in the local music scene, and after a few years began DJing parties. While most DJs often get hung up on the sound of the moment, LadyMonix continues to widen her breadth of knowledge. From 90's R&B to 80's funk, deep house to disco, her sets are never predictable. All of these factors have allowed her to play alongside some of L.A.'s most talented DJs. Also holding a residence at Bar Marmont in Hollywood, one can only expect even bigger things from DJ LadyMonix moving forward.
