Global Volunteer Service Ethiopia (GVSE) Launch Party July 25, 2009

Dear Friends, Community, and Longtime Supporters:

It is my great pleasure to invite you to the Global Volunteer Services Ethiopia (GVSE) launch party this July 2009. GVSE is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to eradicating poverty in Ethiopia. Incorporated in California with a subsidiary organization in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, GVSE was founded on the premise that healthy communities exist by using and building on their own strengths and abilities.

Modeled on the age-old saying, “Give a man a fish and feed him for a day or teach a man to fish and feed him for a lifetime”, GVSE looks forward to helping Ethiopia advance the individual functions of people in the country through healthcare training, education, and by providing access to basic needs.

GVSE is growing and gaining momentum, and we could not have done it without your incredible support. In August, we will begin working alongside many charitable organizations in Ethiopia and assist the United Nations Millennium Development Goal to further our cause. We would like to share this celebratory moment with you, believers and motivators of GVSE during its initial stages. Come and let us show you our appreciation with an evening among friends, supporters, and live jazz music.

We also encourage you to bring along guests. We have a lot to share and a lot to achieve, and as such, look forward to adding new faces to our network of supporters.
