On Friday, August 8th, Global Fridays is proud to present the return of Sen-Sei & Andrew Phelan to On Broadway!

Since they first partnered up in 2005, Sen-Sei & Andrew Phelan have defined the term “live house music”, with Andrew mixing things up on the decks and Sen-Sei jamming out on keys, using his synthesizer to play anything from rhodes and piano solos to acid lines, congas, and more. With over 30 years invested in house music between them, the vibe and energy these two bring to their sets is immediate, forming a connection with the crowd and each other that goes far beyond your average DJ set. Creating a unique blend of mixing and live performance, Sen-Sei & Andrew Phelan’s stage show has quickly set them apart from the pack.

As one of the dominant forces in the San Francisco scene, Sen-Sei & Andrew Phelan hold down residencies at some of the premier venues in the city, including current hotspots Temple, Harlot, and Pink. Outside of SF, these two keep a touring schedule that has taken them across the world, including stops in New York (Space), Washington DC (Buzz), Chicago (SmarBar), Los Angeles (Circus), San Diego (On Broadway) and Miami (Bed) to name a few.

As residents for Thump Radio, Sen-Sei & Andrew Phelan have been heard nationwide on XM Satellite Radio’s Channel 80: The Move, KBIG 104.3 in Los Angeles, and Alice 97.3 in San Francisco, reaching hundreds of thousands of listeners.

With over 50 releases between them, Sen-Sei & Andrew Phelan’s production discographies cover some of the most respected labels in house music, including Nervous, Yoshitoshi, Drop Music, Moonshine, SOMA, Jah Love, Eight-Tracks, Tango, Imperial Dub, and Amenti. As label owners themselves, Andrew’s Prismatic Tracks and Sen-Sei’s Turnaround-Sound Recordings maintain rosters of some of the premier names in house music, including Jeno, Chris Lum, Bryan Jones, Jazzy Eyewear, Patrick Turner, Q-Burns Abstract Message, Santiago & Bushido, and Jake Childs.
