March 6, 2008, New York, NY - The engagement of Germany as part of European Union (EU) negotiations with Iran over nuclear power illustrates that Europe must be considered when studying Asian energy policy. This lecture is a means to explore implicit tensions while thinking about policy, media, and the role of the average citizen.
