Glitter and Doom: German Portraits From the 1920's February 12, 2007

This exhibit features portraits that reflect the starkly realistic painting style that became prominent in Germany during the Weimar Republic era. Included are pieces by Max Beckmann, Heinrich Maria Davringhausen, Otto Dix, George Grosz, Karl Hubbuch, Ludwig Meidner, Christian Schad, Rudolf Schlichter, Georg Scholz and Gert H. Wollheim.
