GLENDI IS ALMOST HERE!!!!!

Join us for our 20th Annual Glendi Food Festival
September 20th, 11am-9pm
September 21st, Noon-6pm

Glendi is the Greek word for ‘party’ and each year thousands of visitors attend to eat, dance and relax. Voted “Best Way to Eat Around the World” by the Sonoma County Independent, you can taste foods from Middle Eastern, Eritrean, Russian, Greek, Balkan, Romanian, & American cultures. Also available are Ethnic Baked Goods, Roast Lamb, Gyros and various beverages including Greek Coffee, Soda, Wine & Micro-brewery Beer. After enjoying the diverse foods offered, you can dance to live Balkan (on Saturday) and Greek (on Sunday) music.

Local folk dance clubs often join in the fun and Greek and Balkan line
dancing is the order of the day. This year’s music will be provided by Edessa on Saturday and Mediterranean Soul on Sunday, and there are free dance lessons offered throughout the weekend. There is also a supervised Children’s Craft & Play Area so that parents can have a chance to dance and chat with friends.

Introductory lectures will be given in both of our churches hourly. The
talks last approximately 30 minutes, leaving time for questions afterwards. The church tours and lectures are conducted by our principle Iconographer and others within our community.

We invite all our visitors to come to the Vespers Service (evening prayer) on Saturday from 4:00 pm to about 4:45 PM. This service, like most of our services, is in English. In addition, there is a candlelight choral concert at 8pm also on Saturday.

Admission is $10 for adults, $6 seniors. Children under 12 free admission.
