Glass Beads of Ghana September 19, 2008

This exhibition focus on glass beads from Ghana, the only viable beadmaking traditions in Sub-Saharan Africa today. In addition to historic beads, there are contemporary examples of this distinctive yet often over-looked art. Contextual photographs and video footage are also included in the exhibition.
