Give Green! Holiday Gift & Harvest Food Fair November 4, 2006

PORTLAND, OR—For the fifth year, Portland’s home-grown Give Green! Holiday Gift and Harvest Food Fair will take place Saturday, November 4th and Sunday, November 5th, featuring local, sustainable and healthy foods and gifts. Attendees will sample and browse organic chocolate, wine, coffees, and meal ideas along with green clothing, gifts, and much more!
This event is a benefit for p:ear, a local nonprofit that provides programs, workshops, and services through the use of education, the arts, and recreation as vehicles for building self-esteem and fostering positive change in homeless and transitional youth. The goal of p:ear is to instill in these young adults the lasting experience of self-worth, ownership of one’s action and confidence in their ability to relate to a broader community. Join us at Give Green! on November 4th and 5th to support sustainable business and raise money for giving transitional youth the chance to thrive through art, education, and recreation.
