Girls' Science Adventures February 13, 2010

These Saturday workshops allow girls ages 10-12 to meet women scientists from the University of Oregon while participating in hands-on activities. Most workshops will also allow girls to tour the University laboratories where the scientists do their research. Girls will be able to experience how real science is done while getting an exciting behind the scenes peek at research in biology, chemistry, physics and geography led by a scientist from the UO's Women in Graduate Sciences organization.
