Girls Rock! film screening April 16, 2009

Seattle Presents and the Seattle International Film Festival dim the lights for Girls Rock! a documentary film by Arne Johnson about rock 'n' roll camp, where girls are taught to sweat like a pig, scream like a banshee and wail on instruments with complete abandon. The young female rockers also learn that "it is 100 percent OK to be exactly who you are." An unrated family-friendly film.
