Girls Rock & Girls Rule will hold its first tour fundraiser on Saturday February 9, 2008 at Hank’s Saloon in Brooklyn , NY . Staying true to the GRGR tradition they will offer fans an incredible night of fantastic femme Rock n Roll! Starring core tour bands, Marisa Mini, RewBee, Loki the Grump, and G-spot. Additionally, to continue their mission to bring exposure to the best independent female rockers on the scene today they will introduce two new NYC performers to the GRGR family; Americas Sweetheart and bluhammock recording artist Swati. GRGR emcee extraordinare (and honorary girl) Garry Novikoff will open and host the event. The doors open at 7:00pm and the music begins promptly at 7:30pm.

Suggested donation is $5.00, and donors will receive a Free Girls Rock & Girls Rule T-shirt while supplies last. The fabulous and multi-talented Rew and Marisa will even custom design it for you onsite! Proceeds will be used to help the tour get back on the road in 2008 where they will once again storm the East Coast bringing recognition to dozens of artists and giving back to women and girls in the community.
