The Girls in Tech-Silicon Valley chapter launch event aims to answer all these questions and more. 2. iPhone User Interface Design: What are best practices around the iPhone User Interface? What are the key tools and processes for making good design decisions. Suzanne will also share some interesting insights and data based on a recent usability study conducted towards better understanding mobile design needs.
3. Monetizing your iPhone Applications: How best to monitize your iPhone apps? Learn how to use advertising to promote your iPhone applications, drive downloads and boost your application's ranking so that your app becomes more discoverable. Hear the benefits of the free vs. paid vs. freemium approaches and learn best practices for maximizing your business opportunity on the iPhone.
4. iPhone Demos: 3 Silicon Valley startups will demo their very first iPhone applications. They will also discuss lessons learned & how they were able to apply these lessons to building their subsequent applications/versions.
